Wednesday, March 1, 9:30am-12pm: Maple Sugaring hosted by Meadowside Nature Center. Learn about the process of making maple syrup. Two sessions available. Also look for other fun Maple Sugaring events on March 2nd and 3rd.

Tuesday, March 21, 9:30am: Clocks, a Fox, and the Spring Equinox: A fun event for kids at Meadowside Nature Center where you can learn about the time of year when there are exactly 12 hours of light and 12 hours of dark. Two sessions available.

July 22 and 23: Don't miss the 17th annual Montgomery Farm Tour Weekend. Farms and orchards throughout the county will be open to the public. This is a great event for families to enjoy an afternoon in the county.

Each free hike will begin at the stone barn at Woodlawn Manor Park located at 16501 Norwood Road in Sandy Spring and will take about 90 minutes to complete. For more information call 301-563-3405.
September 29-October 31: Go to Philips Farm Pumpkin Patch to pick pumpkins and see their 691 pound Atlantic Giant Pumpkin. 13710 Schaeffer Rd Germantown.
October: Farms and farm stands open throughout the Agricultural Reserve for pumpkins, apples, cider, hayrides and other seasonal events.
Every weekend in October: The Annual Pumpkin Festival at Butler's Orchard. Choose your very own pumpkin; take a hayride; jump in the Hayloft Barn; explore the straw maze; see Pumpkin Land characters; taste hand-dipped caramel apples and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage. Crafts, food, family activities and much more! Fee.

October 4-November 3: Black Rock Center for the Arts presents the exhibit “Rustic Roads: A Journey Through the Montgomery County Ag Reserve”. See the work of local artists Dalis Davidson, Tina Thieme Brown and Lee Langstaff.
Saturday, October 7 8:30am - 4pm: "The Natural and Cultural History of the Ag Reserve" This field trip is an opportunity to visit parkland, working farms, an orchard, and several historical sites to experience the rich diviersity of plants and wildlife that thrive in the Reserve's fields, meadows, ponds, streams, and rocky woodlands.
